How to treat jams in the corners of the lips? Preparations for the treatment of seizures in the corners of the mouth Seizures symptoms
- This is an inflammatory process of the mucous membrane on the lips and skin in the corners of the mouth.
The medical names for this disease are: angular stomatitis, angulitis or angular cheilitis. Seizures can appear at any age. They cause a lot of inconvenience and discomfort. Cracks that form when the integrity of the skin in the corners of the mouth is broken are painful, often accompanied by burning and itching. Although the disease is not considered serious, it cannot be left without treatment.
Reasons for the formation of jam
The cause of jamming on the lips and in the corners of the mouth can be both external factors and disorders in the body. The main causes of cracks are:
- disorders in the gastrointestinal tract;
- weak immune system;
- lack of vitamins and microelements (avitaminosis, especially in spring);
- dry skin and microtrauma in the corners of the lips;
- the habit of frequently licking the mouth and lips;
- violations of the rules of oral care;
- eating dirty fruits and vegetables;
- problems with teeth (carious teeth, the presence of prostheses);
- persistent iron deficiency in the body;
- metabolic disorders (diabetes mellitus);
- response of the body to irritants (allergy).
In addition to visual examination, laboratory procedures are needed to identify the exact cause and make a diagnosis. They scrape the damaged mucosa, examine and determine the type of bacteria, fungi and microorganisms that caused inflammation.
Assign a complete blood count to exclude a number of causes associated with other diseases.
Symptoms of the appearance of a jam
Jams in the corners of the lips appear first in the form of redness, then cracks appear.
The development of inflammation goes through several stages. The main symptoms accompanying the disease:
- the appearance of redness of the skin in the corners of the lips;
- the affected areas itch and cause a burning sensation;
- small bubbles (nodules) form;
- in the corners of the lips, the skin is torn, forming cracks that can bleed;
- from the cracks, circulating mucus constantly stands out, which, drying up, forms crusts.
Wounds that form at the corners of the mouth are often wet and difficult to heal on their own.
By the appearance of the crack and foci of inflammation, you can determine the source of infection. For example:
- the appearance of edema, accompanied by severe itching, which makes you want to comb the jam, is a sign of an allergic reaction;
- The presence of reddish or whitish cracks in the corners without crusts indicates a fungal infection (candida);
- The formation of yellowish crusts on the crack indicates inflammation caused by microbes (staphylococci).
Important! Seizures are different from skin lesions caused by the herpes virus. Angulite (zaeds) appear only in the outer corners of the mouth.
Treatment Methods
It is very important to correctly determine how to treat seizures in the corners of the lips. If the disease is started, the infection will spread, the infection may join. Below is a photo of the running form of the zayed:
With a precisely established cause, the affected areas of the skin can be cured quickly and easily.
For an integrated approach when prescribing a course of treatment, use:
- Medications. Medicines in the form of ointments and tablets that contain antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and antifungal substances.
- Means of traditional medicine. Various ointments, powders. Washing and lotions with plant juices and decoctions of antiseptic herbs.
- Physiotherapy. Warming up infected areas. Methods of laser and cryotherapy.
It should be remembered that the methods of treating seizures in adults and children are different. Therefore, it is necessary to consult a dermatologist and strictly follow his prescriptions when a child becomes a patient.
Treatment is carried out in stages. Relieve inflammation, getting rid of the cause (causative agent) of the disease. Then the affected tissues are restored, contributing to the rapid healing of cracks.
Treatment of seizures in the corners of the lips with drugs and tablets should be started after the elimination of external causes that can cause damage to the mucosa. For this you need:
- stop constantly licking your lips;
- with dry lips, use hypoallergenic hygienic lipstick;
- enrich your diet. Include in the menu products containing a lot of B vitamins and iron;
- cure other diseases that can cause seizures;
- eliminate vitamin deficiency (take complexes of vitamins and microelements);
- follow the rules of oral care.
An adult can follow these recommendations without much difficulty. With high-quality treatment, angulitis (seizures) is cured in one to two weeks. If the body is weakened and depleted (with weak immunity and beriberi), cracks and redness persist for a long time. Without treatment, the disease can become chronic.
Ointments and tablets
Ointments are applied topically, applying them to the affected area. If seizures are caused by streptococcal infection, an antibiotic ointment is prescribed (Erythromycin, Synthomycin). It is necessary to use ointments only after a laboratory examination.
When the fungal nature of the disease (candida) is detected, Nystatin or Levorin ointment is used. Sernosalicylic ointment also has a good effect in advanced infections.
Helps to cure cracks Vishnevsky balm. It should be applied carefully, only on the area of the jam, avoiding contact with the mucous membrane of the mouth and lips.
Ointments are also used for angulitis in children. Antifungal agents are often used (Lamicil, Clotrimazole). Antibacterial and anti-inflammatory drugs (Trimistan and Gioksizon). It is recommended to use Synthomycin and Tetracycline ointments.
When using any type of ointment, you need to know the contraindications and age restrictions. Accurately observe the dosage and duration of treatment.
If the infectious nature of the infection is detected, in combination with local procedures, drugs are prescribed for oral administration, in tablets:
- fungal infection is eliminated by taking drugs: Flucanazole, Nizoral, Ketoconazole, Nystatin, Lamisil, Levorin;
- with bacterial inflammation caused by streptococci, staphylococci, antibiotics are prescribed. New generation drugs that act selectively;
- if an allergic cause of the appearance of a jam is identified, antihistamines are used: Suprastin, Erolin, Zirtek, Clemastine.
In the treatment of seizures in the corners of the lips, in addition to medication, vitamin complexes play an important role. They must be prescribed for any form of the disease. The most effective will be preparations containing vitamins of group B.
Folk methods of treatment
There were jams on the lips. How to treat more effectively and faster? The use of traditional medicine recipes in combination with medicines gives an excellent positive result.
- apply lotions from decoctions of herbs with antiseptic properties (celandine, chamomile, sage);
- to disinfect weeping cracks, use strong infusions (tea, oak bark, pine buds);
- cauterize the affected areas with alcohol tinctures (propolis, mumiyo);
- make lotions with oils (sea buckthorn, fir, tea tree).
When using various folk recipes, you need to make sure that all components do not cause an allergic reaction.
Prevention
Zaedy, at least once, can appear in everyone. Especially in childhood. Often they go away on their own after a few days, causing little discomfort. But in order not to provoke the appearance of cracks in the corners of the mouth, it is advisable to adhere to the following tips:
- timely treat concomitant diseases (chronic inflammation);
- observe the rules of personal hygiene (brush your teeth regularly, rinse your mouth);
- observe the principles of rational nutrition;
- take vitamins (if necessary);
- use hygienic lipstick (if the skin of the lips is dry);
- strengthen the immune system (hardening, physical activity, immunostimulant complexes);
- avoid hypothermia and stress;
- do not use dirty canteens and other household items;
- do not lick your lips (children do not chew on pencils, toys, nails ...)
- rinse your mouth with antiseptic solutions, especially if you suspect a jam.
It is easy to follow these recommendations even for a child (under the supervision of an adult). Preventive measures will help maintain healthy lip mucosa and skin at the corners of the mouth. The reward will be a beautiful smile without red, cracked wounds.
During treatment, you can not smoke and drink alcohol. If possible, these habits should be abandoned.
Use only high-quality medicines that have a certificate. Always check the expiration date of the medication.
No need to tear off dried crusts, comb the wound and open the resulting bubbles.
You should know that in some forms of the disease, seizures are very contagious. Separate household items (dishes, towels, dental accessories) should be used.

In medicine, this disease is called angulitis, and if the treatment of this disease is not started in time, bleeding wounds, crusts and ulcers may appear. Most often, seizures in the corners of the mouth appear in spring and winter. In most cases, the occurrence of jam signals a lack of B vitamins in the body.
How to quickly cure seizures in the corners of the mouth at home, what causes the occurrence of seizures in adults, we will consider in this article.
Causes of jamming in the corners of the mouth
In adults, microbes are the primary factor in inflammation with the formation of cracks in the corners of the mouth: streptococci lead to the appearance of streptococcal seizures, fungi from the genus Candida - candidamicotic, or yeast seizures. These pathogens are conditionally pathogenic, are part of the normal microflora of the human body, but with a decrease in the protective functions of the immune system, they cause limited inflammation of the upper layer of the skin and mucosal epithelium.
Zayeda as a manifestation of diseases:
- iron deficiency and other types;
- liver disease;
- lack of vitamins A, B, B2, C, E.;
- immunodeficiency states (decreased immunity);
- prolonged increase in body temperature;
- courses of hormone therapy with glucocorticoids, immunosuppressants, cytostatics.
Seizures as an independent symptom may result from:
- use of unwashed dishes;
- the use of unwashed vegetables and fruits;
- constant licking of the lips, corners of the mouth and stagnation of saliva;
- violation of the rules of hygienic care for the oral cavity;
- squeezing acne and combing the skin in the area of the corners of the mouth;
- hypothermia.
There are a huge number of factors that can provoke the appearance of seizures in the corners of the mouth in adults. It is very important to recognize in a timely manner which of them takes place in your case. To do this, you need to try to analyze your lifestyle on your own, remember what you have been ill with in the last 2-3 weeks, if any other symptoms bother you.
If even after all this you cannot conclude what could cause cracks in the corners of your mouth, it is better to seek help from a therapist.
Symptoms
The appearance of a jam begins with redness in the corners of the mouth. Further there are bubbles filled with pus. Intentional opening or accidental damage to the bubble leads to the appearance of small cracks, purulent fluid from the bubble covers the cracks and forms a crust.
Often, when the vesicle is damaged, not only pus appears, but also blood - in this case, the crust becomes brown and very painful: there is a burning sensation, pain when touched, eating, opening the mouth, it is difficult for women to paint their lips with lipstick.

Treatment of seizures in the corners of the mouth
In adults, seizures in the corners of the mouth can be quickly cured if the cause of their appearance is precisely established. For infections, fungi, or drug reactions, only a specialist can prescribe treatment. If angulitis is a consequence or symptom of an illness, then its treatment should also be monitored by a doctor.
During therapy general guidelines should be followed:
- Stop licking your lips;

Zaedy is the colloquial name for the disease, in official medicine called angulitis. Its symptoms are familiar to many: tiny painful cracks in the corners of the lips are accompanied by irritation, burning, redness. If the disease is started, it will develop into pustular formations and erosion. In the absence of treatment and hygienic care, it easily becomes chronic.
What are the reasons for the appearance of jamming?
You probably noticed that the disease worsens in the winter-spring period. It is understandable, because it was at this time that immunity was weakened - seasonal vitamin deficiency affects. With reduced immunity, it is easier for bacteria and viruses to attack a person. The pathogenic microflora that provokes the appearance of seizures is formed for several reasons. For example, infection through dirty hands, dishes, someone else's cosmetics, during a kiss, in the absence of oral and lip hygiene. Cracks can be the result of prolonged antibiotic therapy, this also undermines the immune system.
Persistent seizures are a characteristic symptom of iron deficiency anemia. In this case, iron therapy is required to raise the hemoglobin level.
Zaeda is formed due to the attack of a person's own microflora, which is called conditionally pathogenic - streptococcal bacteria and fungi of the genus Candida. At the time of a decrease in immunity, vitamin deficiency, microtrauma, viral infection and other factors, this own flora begins to attack the host and cause inflammation.
It is possible to distinguish streptococcal from candidiasis by appearance. Steptococcal has the appearance of a bubble, which then bursts with the formation of purulent crusts, candidal looks like a red crack with a possible grayish coating around the edges, which is easily removed. Sometimes they confuse herpes on the lips with a bacterial infection. Only a specialist can accurately determine the cause in each case - a pediatrician, therapist, dentist, dermatologist. The speed and quality of treatment depends on how correctly the cause is established.
Experts identify 7 main risk factors:
Constant dryness of the skin of the lips and perioral zone;
Microtrauma and crusts on the lips;
Hypothermia, prolonged exposure to the street during the wind, frequent colds;
Smoking;
The presence of chronic general diseases;
Lack of vitamins and nutrients in food;
Sick teeth, lack of crowns and dentures, poor care of the oral cavity, its untimely sanitation.
The corners of the lips are cracked: what to do?
At the first unpleasant symptoms, seizures must be immediately treated with an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory agent. You can apply a solution of Chlorhexidine or Miramistin to the cotton wool and gently blot the crack. Allow the skin to dry, then apply an anti-inflammatory ointment with clean fingers or a cotton swab. Dentists recommend in such cases Holisal gel, Viferon ointment, vitamin A and E externally. In the case of bacterial streptococcal seizures, antibiotic ointments (erythromycin, synthomycin, etc.) are used; in case of a fungal infection, local treatment with antifungal ointments (nystatin) is necessary.
If seizures are disturbing with unenviable regularity, it makes sense to take a dermatological analysis - scraping from damaged skin. Also, the doctor may prescribe a general blood and urine test, a smear from the oral cavity. If the cause of angulitis lies in a violation of the health of the internal organs, you should prepare to take the drugs prescribed by the doctor orally.
Along with this, it is important to drink a multivitamin complex and adjust the diet by excluding allergen products from it and enriching it with healthy food. Until the cracks heal, you should not cook spicy, salty, rough and other irritating dishes. In addition, you need to dress warmer in the cold, protect your lips from chapping, moisturize them with hygienic lipsticks and protect yourself from cold viruses.
Prevention measures
Having cured jams, you need to make sure that they do not form in the future. The following tips will help prevent relapse:
Regularly harden the body, stop smoking, eat healthy and vitamin-rich foods;
Do not abuse sweets and food that does not bring any benefit to the body, but only undermines the immune system;
Take care of your oral cavity daily, treat caries in time and prosthetic teeth;
Avoid dehydration of the skin of the lips - use moisturizers and balms, lipsticks several times a day;
Watch the quality of cosmetics, never paint your lips with someone else's gloss or lipstick;
Avoid being in the wind and drafts for a long time;
Protect your mouth area from germs: do not touch your lips with dirty hands and unclean handkerchiefs, towels, do not bite your nails and the tips of pencil pens. In a word, avoid contact of lips with everything that microbes and viruses can massively sit on.

Why might they appear?
Angulitis (angular stomatitis or cheilitis) appears due to excessive reproduction of streptococci, staphylococcus, pathogenic fungal microflora. The main time of appearance is spring time.
This is due to a decrease in immunity in most people due to a decrease in the amount of vitamins and minerals in the food taken.
In more complex cases, it indicates a metabolic disorder, which may be associated with the loss of the body's ability to assimilate the beneficial components of food.
This signals the need for a thorough medical examination to identify the primary disease.
Seizures are microdamages of soft tissues. The causes of the presented disease can be attributed to the mechanical effect. In this case, self-treatment will not take much time.
But if such troubles are the result of a serious illness, then jams in the corners of the lips cannot be softened and eliminated by the use of drugs, ointments and other means. This will be followed by a long and thorough diagnosis to identify the causes.
- using someone else's or unwashed cutlery and utensils while eating;
- when eating unwashed foods, fruits and vegetables;
- in the presence of a "bad" habit of licking the lips, as a result of which a kind of stagnation of saliva forms in the corners of the lips;
- non-compliance with basic hygiene rules;
- self-elimination of acne by squeezing them;
- combing the corners of the mouth with nails;
- susceptibility to hypothermia;
- presence of malocclusion;
- in the presence of prostheses that were installed incorrectly and now lead to mechanical damage.
The second group includes the entire list of diseases that provoke microcracks in soft tissues (sometimes characteristic ulcers appear on the earlobes).
Anemia, pathologies of internal organs, manifestation of an allergic reaction, the presence of diabetes mellitus, a prolonged increase in human body temperature due to prolonged use of antibiotics, beriberi, dental caries or fungal infections are distinguished here.
Whatever the reason for the formation of seizures in the corners of the mouth, it must be identified even at the initial stages, since there are cases of diagnosing HIV infections that are not recognized immediately, but have a rapid development and spread.
The reasons for the formation of seizures in a child and in an adult are seriously different. However, one should not talk about treatment and prevention here in a generalized form, because the elimination of troubles directly depends on the causes of their occurrence.
- streptococcal zaeda- often occurs in children and is characterized by the formation of a bubble in the corner of the mouth, which subsequently bursts, which leads to the onset of erosion, covered with a dense crust. This type of illness causes discomfort and worries the baby. In addition, there is a characteristic soreness during the opening of the mouth.
- candidamycotic zaeda- a yeast-like fungus with erosion of soft tissues, but already without a kind of crust. Similar manifestations are also scarlet or with a grayish-white coating. The presented type of jam does not cause discomfort from the cosmetic side, because it is practically invisible. However, pain when opening the mouth, talking is present, and the disease itself requires long-term treatment.
The types of cracks practically do not affect further methods of treatment, with the exception of the medications used.
Causes of appearance in adults
Jamming in the corner of the mouth indicates the presence of a bacterial infection. In an adult, it can appear for two reasons:
- there is an infection in the human body, which eventually begins to manifest as cracks at the base of the lips;
- with regular movement of the lips, small cracks may appear in their corners, over time, infections and bacteria get into them.
Why jams appear in the corners of the mouth:
- poorly processed dishes;
- with frequent licking of the lips;
- in the process of prolonged and regular exposure to frost;
- hypothermia of the body;
- mechanical damage (trauma, cuts);
- poor oral hygiene and lips in particular.
Jamming in the corner of the mouth can be formed as a result of some processes occurring in the human body:
- anemia. It is the female sex that is often prone to the development of anemia, and therefore cracks in the corners of the mouth appear more often in them than in men;
- infectious diseases;
- allergy to cosmetics in adults (very often to hygienic lipstick);
- dehydration. Violation of the water balance in the body, contributes to overdrying of the skin, as a result of which micro cracks begin to appear on the skin;
- seizures are often observed in pregnant women, since during this period all useful substances go to the development of the fetus, and the expectant mother begins to experience a lack of vitamins and minerals;
- cracks in the corners can often be observed in people with liver or kidney problems, as well as diabetes;
- weakened immune system, often observed in early spring;
- common in patients with bulimia. Regular vomiting provokes the development of an acidic environment in the oral cavity, which irritates the mucous membranes;
- in some cases, cracks in the corners of the lips appear in people with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.

Jams or cracks in the corners of the lips often spoil our lives, disturbing the appearance and causing anxiety.
Seizures in the corners of the mouth, the causes and treatment of which is important for any person to know, are a serious problem for a considerable number of people suffering from such ailments.
Cracks and irritations on the lips are commonly called jams, while the medical term that describes this unpleasant phenomenon is called angulitis. However, now doctors often use the word zayed.
There are quite a lot of methods of treatment: from the use of various medicines - ointments and other medicines, to the use of traditional medicine. The main cause of seizures is inflammation, which causes redness and deformation of the skin. Zayed does not threaten any complications, but it is always useful to know how to treat jams in the corners of the mouth.
Although jamming is inherently a completely safe manifestation of inflammation, this inflammation itself has its own causes of appearance, these causes can also cause other more serious diseases. Therefore, the causes of seizures must be identified.
Jams in the corners of the lips indicate that something is wrong in the body. Often the appearance of seizures may indicate an exacerbation of some chronic disease.
Another name for zaedov is, as already mentioned, angulitis - this is the most common name, but other names can be used in medicine - angular or angular cheilitis, the name angular stomatitis is often used. Seizures may look like ordinary cracks, small bubbles or pustules.
Jams in the corners of the lips indicate that something is wrong in the body.
Signs by which jams can be recognized are quite obvious:
- the appearance of a slight reddening or microcracks of the skin in the corners of the lips;
- constant irritation of the inflamed area, causing itching;
- when performing actions such as opening the mouth, smiling or laughing, there are vivid painful sensations;
- cracks of a characteristic type that appear when the crust cracks in the inflamed area.
Jamming on the lips develop gradually. There can be many provoking factors - from hypothermia to light wounds. First, a small swelling appears in the form of a pimple. When a pimple bursts, inflammation spreads around the entire corner of the lips.
The bursting of a pimple can occur, for example, while eating. Further, the area of redness may increase. At the final stage of its development, at a stop or, as doctors call it, on an erosive area, a dense crust forms.
It spoils the appearance, and causes irritation.
A large number of people suffer from seizures. There are no statistics on the age groups of patients - seizures can appear at any age. Their appearance does not depend on the gender of a person, that is, it cannot be said that seizures appear more often in men or women. There is only one identified pattern - the dependence on the time of year. Most cases of jamming are recorded in the spring.
Treatment of jams in the corners of the lips is quite a burning task. Treatment with folk remedies has gained great popularity. Proper application of treatment methods and the exact implementation of the prescriptions of doctors gives a quick and stable result. However, in order to competently approach the treatment, you need to consider all the possible causes of seizures.
Seizures (lat. angulus infectiosus), painful cracks in the corners of the mouth, are also called angular stomatitis (cheilitis). Their cause is not always obvious. Lesions and pain are a symptom of a specific disease state that is exacerbated by a streptococcal infection or a fungus of the genus Candida.
Causes of jamming in the corners of the mouth
Angular stomatitis (cheilitis) manifested by red spots around the corners of the mouth, dry skin, burning, blisters, cracks, sometimes bleeding.
The following factors contribute to the formation of a defect:
- the habit of frequently licking the lips, the drying of saliva causes a feeling of tightness, which requires re-moistening - and so on;
- malocclusion or anatomical protrusion of the upper lip;
- the habit of keeping fingers in the mouth and biting nails, which contributes to excess moisture in the corners of the mouth;
- oral candidiasis;
- ill-fitting dentures;
- inflammation of the gums;
- sudden weight loss and sagging of the skin around the mouth.
Antibiotics. A predisposing factor is antibiotic treatment, disruption of the gastrointestinal tract, weakened immunity due to the above and other reasons.
Allergy. The cause of painful cracks in the corners of the mouth is an allergy to the components of toothpaste or lipstick.
Diarrhea. With regular loose stools, the intestinal microflora synthesizes less B vitamins, weight is reduced. Sagging of the skin around the lips, its peeling are the causes of the treatment of seizures in the corners of the mouth.
Skin sensitivity. The reason for the seizure is the increased sensitivity of the skin in atopic dermatitis.
A streptococcal or fungal infection, sometimes both together, penetrates through cracked skin, which increases itching and burning.
Anemia. The reason for the dryness of the tongue, its ulceration (aft), jamming in the corners of the mouth is iron deficiency. Signs: change in taste preferences, want to eat chalk, river sand, clay, etc., white streaks (koilonychia) on the nails.
Impetigo. Superficial pustular lesions of streptococci affect not only the corners of the mouth, but also the wings of the nose, the closure of the upper and lower eyelids near the temples. The opening of the blisters forms painful cracks. They itch, cause increased salivation, pain while eating.
Impetigo is easy to catch during kissing, when using hygiene items, shared utensils, toys. After recovery, no traces remain on the skin.
Streptococcal infection does not necessarily penetrate from the outside. Its possible sources are inflamed tonsils, caries, malocclusion, which occurs in young children and the elderly.
Candidiasis. The cause of mycotic seizures in the corners of the mouth is flexible of the Candida albicans family, malocclusion. Usually cracks on both sides.
Candidiasis develops self-treatment with antibiotics that disrupt the function of the gastrointestinal tract. Another reason is taking corticosteroid hormones, birth control pills. If used incorrectly, these drugs reduce immunity.
The cause of candidiasis of the corners of the mouth, or yeast infection, is an underbite in the elderly, who are used to licking their lips, sleeping with their mouth open, which is why the skin is moisturized all night.
In healthy people, the jam does not pass for several weeks, with a weakened immune system - longer.
Avitaminosis or hypervitaminosis.
Vitamin A deficiency worsens the condition of the skin. On the contrary, its excess is the cause of jamming in the corners of the mouth, dry skin, lethargy, and a feeling of constant fatigue.
Dry eyes, red eyelids, poor sleep, depression, greasy hair, peeling of the skin around the nostrils, cracks and jams in the corners of the lips, stomatitis are signs of a lack of vitamin B2 (riboflavin).
Riboflavin does not accumulate in the body, it is excreted in the urine. In the treatment of seizures in the corners of the mouth, increase the intake of foods rich in vitamin B2 - milk, vegetables, eggs, beef, legumes.
Deficiency of B vitamins (primarily vitamin B2) also complicates angular stomatitis (cheilitis).
Home treatment for jamming in the corners of the mouth in adults and children
The simplest measures to prevent angular stomatitis (cheilitis) are keeping the lips moist with hygienic lipstick or petroleum jelly, as well as oral health.
Avoid frequent washing of the face - moisture contributes to the spread of infection. After contact with a crack, wash your hands, lubricate your nails with tincture of iodine twice a day.
- For the treatment of seizures in the corners of the mouth, lubricate them with hygienic lipstick or oil with vitamin A - it promotes healing.
- Treat seizures in the corners of the mouth with vodka or alcohol tincture of chamomile diluted with water.
- For home treatment, burdock or castor oil from a pharmacy is used, and fir oil is also applied to the corners of the mouth.
- Lubricate cracks with a mixture of 1s.l. olive oil and 1 drop of lemon oil from the pharmacy.
- To treat jamming in the corners of the mouth, apply brilliant green, treat the skin around with salicylic or boric alcohol.
If after a week the defect does not go away, consult a doctor.
