Trump's inauguration speech January 20, 2017 VIDEO ONLINE
Chief Justice Roberts, President Carter, President Clinton, President Bush, President Obama! My dear Americans and people of the world! Thank you!
We, the citizens of a great America, must now make a tremendous effort at the level of the whole nation to realize our unity and fulfill our obligation to all our people. Together we will define where will he go America, where the world will move for many, many years.
We will face difficulties, we will have problems, but we will do our job. (Applause)
Every 4 years we gather here on these steps to make a peaceful transfer of power. And we are grateful to President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for their tremendous and invaluable assistance in this transition of power. They proved to be amazing people. Thanks a lot! (Applause)
Today's ceremony is a very special ceremony, because today we are not just transferring power from one administration to another and from one party to another. We are transferring power from Washington DC back to you people! (Applause)
For too long, a small group representing big capital has ruled our country while all of you have been bearing chains of costs and expenses. Washington prospered, the people did not participate in this holiday. Politicians prospered, and in the meantime, work was leaving America. Factories closed, the establishment defended itself, but did not protect the people of our country, did not protect its citizens. Their victories were not your victories. Their triumphs were not your triumphs. And when they celebrated their victories in the capital of our country, in those families that live all over America, there was not much to celebrate. All this is changing here and now, because today is your day and it belongs to you. It belongs to everyone who is here, it belongs to everyone who watches us across America. Today is your day, today is your holiday. And today the United States of America is your country.
What matters is not which party controls our government, but whether our government is controlled by the people. (Applause)
January 20, 2017 will be remembered as the day when the people began to rule their country, began to rule it again. The forgotten men and women of our country will no longer be forgotten. You will be heard. Tens of millions of people united in historical movement which no one has ever seen before. And at the center of this movement lies the very important conviction that a nation must serve its citizens. America wants schools for its children, safe neighborhoods for its families, good work for all its citizens. And these are reasonable fair demands of people who are in their own right. But too many of our citizens were denied this. They live in a different reality, they live in a poverty trap. Our factories are rusting and looking like crypts. Our education system is flooded with money, but leaves our young brilliant students without any knowledge. And the crime, the gangs, the drugs that are taking too many lives, that are ruining our country, that are depriving it of its untapped potential - it has to stop here, and it has to stop right now. (Applause)
We are one nation. And the pain of our fellow citizens is our pain. Their dreams are our dreams, and our success will be their success. We have one heart, we have one home, and we have one glorious purpose. The oath I took today is an oath to all Americans.
For many decades we have developed foreign industry at the expense of American industry. We paid the armies of other countries, not noticing how our own army was declining. We defended the borders of other countries and refused to defend our own border. (Applause) And spending billions and billions of dollars outside of America while our prefecture was in decline. We have made other countries rich, while the wealth accumulated by the forces of our country was disappearing over the horizon. One by one factories closed and went to other countries. And no one thought about the millions of working people who were left behind. The wealth of our middle class has been taken away and redistributed around the world. But this is the past. Now we will look to the future with you. We are gathered here today to declare what should be heard in every city, in every capital, in every place where there is the power of thought. With today and further our country will be guided by the new philosophy. From now on, we will always, first of all, think only about American interests. (Applause)
Every decision on trade, on taxes, on emigration, on foreign policy will be made for the benefit of American workers and American families.
We will defend our borders from attacks from other countries that manufacture our goods, steal our companies and destroy our labor market.
Protection will help us achieve prosperity by force. I will fight for you until my last breath and I will never let you down.
America will start winning again, winning like it has never won before. We'll get our jobs back, we'll get our borders back, we'll get our wealth back, and we'll get our dreams back. (Applause)
We will build new roads, new highways, new bridges, airports, tunnels, railways throughout our wonderful country. We will help our people stop living on unemployment benefits. We will rebuild our country with American hands and American labor. We will follow two simple rules: buy American and hire Americans!
We will seek friendship and goodwill with other countries of the world, but we will do this with the understanding that the right of all nations is to protect their interests first and foremost. We will not impose our way of life on anyone. But we let it shine like an ideal, and everyone will see the ideal that they must follow.
We will strengthen existing alliances, create new ones, and unite the civilized world in the fight against radical Islamic terrorism, and completely destroy it from the face of the Earth.
The basis of our policy will be the struggle for the interests of the United States of America. And before thinking about loyalty to other countries, we must remember about loyalty to each other. When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice. (Applause)
The Bible tells us how good it is when God's people live together as one family. We must open our minds, we must discuss our differences, we must always strive for unity, for solidarity. When America is united, it is impossible to stop it.
You don't have to be afraid. You are protected and we will always be protected. We will be protected by the magnificent men and women who serve in our army, in our law enforcement agencies, and more importantly, we will be protected by God. (Applause)
Finally, we must think big and want more, because America lives as long as it strives for more. We should no longer agree with politicians who always talk but do nothing. They complain all the time but do nothing to fix the problem. The time for empty talk is over – the time for action has come.
Don't let anyone tell you that something can't be done. There is no fiction that the American heart and spirit cannot handle. We will win! Our country will dream again and prosper again. We are at the beginning of a new millennium. And we are ready to discover the mysteries of the Cosmos, ready to free the Earth from diseases and develop a new industry, new technologies of tomorrow. A new national pride will help us move forward and heal our wounds and overcome our divisions.
We must remember the old saying: it doesn't matter if you are black, brown or white - the red blood of patriots flows in our veins, and it is the same for everyone!
We all have the same great freedoms, we all salute the great American flag, and when a child is born, he looks into the same sky with all, and dreams of the same thing. These dreams fill the hearts of children, and they breathe thanks to one single Almighty Creator. So I say to all Americans, far and near, cities large and small, from mountains to mountains, from ocean to ocean: Hear me! You will never be ignored again! Your voice, your hopes and your dreams will determine where America goes! Your courage, your love will lead us on this path, will guide us! Together we will make America strong again, we will make America rich again! We will make America proud again! We'll make America safe again! And together we will make America great again! Thanks a lot! God bless you and God bless the United States of America! Thank you!

Donald Trump officially became the 45th President of the United States during his inauguration ceremony in Washington today. The first event of the ceremony was traditionally a visit to a church service near the White House. After Trump, accompanied by future Vice President Michael Pence, who was also present at the service, went to meet with the 44th President Barack Obama and his deputy Joe Biden.
The inauguration ceremony began at 09:30 US East Coast time (17:30 Moscow time) with musical performances at the west stairs of the Capitol. 16-year-old singer Jackie Ivanko sang the national anthem. After 11 am, speeches by the country's political and religious leaders began.
The head of the inaugural committee, Senator Roy Blunt, delivered a speech in which he remembered former President Ronald Reagan, who moved the inauguration to the place where it took place today - at the west wing of the Capitol.
After that, Cardinal Timothy Dolan said a prayer. The musical accompaniment of the solemn ceremony was provided by the choir of the University of Missouri, which came to Washington especially on the occasion of the inauguration.
Senate Democratic Minority Leader Charles Schumer also spoke from the stage. "I'm standing here, confident in the future of our country, for one reason only - because of you Americans!" he said. Schumer also stressed the need for a peaceful transfer of power that "makes America America."
After that, the oath was taken by US Vice President-elect Mike Pence. Soon, Judge John Roberts took the oath of office of Donald Trump, after which he officially became the 45th President of the United States.
"This ceremony has a special meaning. We are not only transferring power from one presidential administration to another, from one political party to another. This is the return of power from the capital of Washington back to the hands of people across the country," Trump announced, speaking from the stage after the adoption oaths.
"For a long time, a small group of people in Washington received all the wealth, but people across the country suffered. The establishment protected only their own interests. Their successes were not your successes. When they celebrated in Washington, people across the country faced problems," the president continued.
Trump stressed that the country belongs to everyone who gathered here today, and to those who follow what is happening on TV. "This is your day. This is your holiday. This is your country. The USA is your country. It doesn't matter which party is in power. It is important that the government will protect the interests of the people. January 20, 2017 will go down in history as the day when power returned to the country back into the hands of the people of the United States," the head of state announced.
"The forgotten people of America will no longer be forgotten. The nation serves to serve the people. Mothers and children are in poverty. Closed factories are like tombstones throughout the country," Trump added, noting the rampant crime and drug addiction in the United States.
The new president also stressed that from now on, Washington will follow the motto "America first!". Now, according to Trump, all decisions in domestic and foreign policy will be made by the White House solely in the interests of the United States.
"We will follow two rules: buy American, hire American," Trump said. In addition, he promised the people "to wipe out radical Islamic terrorism from the face of the earth."
The ceremony was broadcast live on The New York Times YouTube channel.
On the morning of January 20, President Barack Obama, along with First Lady Michelle Obama, met Trump and his wife on the threshold of the White House. They exchanged greetings and Melania Trump presented the outgoing first lady with a gift. After that, everyone proceeded inside for a traditional tea party.
High-ranking guests began to arrive at the Capitol, where the inauguration ceremony took place, from the very morning. The media reported on the arrival of former US President George W. Bush and his wife Laura, former head of state Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary, who lost the presidential election to Trump.

The first inauguration in Washington was already in the 19th century. Thomas Jefferson was the first to walk from his home to the Houses of Congress. The White House had not yet been built. Now presidents are doing almost the same way, only now from the White House to the US Capitol. Republican Donald Trump promised the public the "greatest in history" inauguration. Her slogan is "Make America Great Again!". Let's see how it was:

The new model of the world order, step by step, begins to master the world space. Her idea is universal, global. This historical event for all mankind, the entire civilized world is akin to the discovery: in astronomy - a parade of planets; in music - the transition from polyphony to a homophonic-harmonic warehouse; in science - Edison light bulbs, means of communication; in literature - writing; in medicine - antibiotics.
The world stood on the brink of catastrophe due to fundamental contradictions between the United States of America and Europe on the one hand - the Russian Federation and China - on the other. And these notorious contradictions lie in the plane of the world economy, its financial and monetary system. The revolutionary situation in this area has reached its critical mass, when the dollar and the euro cannot, but the ruble and the yuan do not want to, as a result of which a “civil war” of national currencies was brewing with an “armed clash” on all fronts, turning into a direct conflict in the intercontinental spaces by intercontinental rockets on our blue planet.
And he, perhaps, would have happened with the coming to power of Hillary Clinton with her frostbitten entourage. However, Donald Trump won.
Everything has its beginning and its continuation. The US election campaign is a continuation, a link in the chain of causal relationships that shape events. And what, excuse me, America gave birth to in the elections on November 8, is our merit.
It all started in the belly of Europe on September 10, 2007, in the city of Munich, when the world political elite was diagnosed by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. His speech was timely, fair and resonant to such an extent that the political establishment and the business elite were “breathless” and she was shocked that someone dared to speak to them in such a critical tone, and even about changing the established world order.
The whole truth in these Putin quotes:
- "For the modern world, a unipolar model is not only unacceptable, but even impossible."
- “The entire legal system of one state, above all, of course, the United States, has crossed its national borders in all areas: in the economy, in politics, and in the humanitarian sphere, it is being imposed on other states.”
- "The only decision-making mechanism on the use of military force as a last resort can only be the UN Charter."
- “If today the new United States Secretary of Defense announces to us here that the United States will not hide these extra charges in warehouses, under the pillow, or under the covers, I invite everyone to stand and stand to greet this.”
- “NATO is pushing its advanced forces to our state borders, and we, strictly complying with the Treaty, do not react to these actions in any way” - on non-compliance with the Treaty on Conventional armed forces in Europe (CFE).
- “What happened to the assurances given by Western partners after the dissolution of the Warsaw Pact?” - about guarantees of non-expansion of NATO to the east.
- “With one hand, “charitable assistance” is distributed, and with the other, not only economic backwardness is preserved, but also profit is collected” - about the economic policy of the West in relation to the countries of the “third world”.
- "They are trying to turn the OSCE into a vulgar instrument for ensuring the foreign policy interests of one or a group of countries in relation to other countries."
- “Russia is a country with more than a thousand years of history, and almost always it has enjoyed the privilege of pursuing an independent foreign policy. We are not going to change this tradition today.”
The greatness of what happened even today, after almost ten years, is not yet fully realized by us, because, as the wise man said, everything great is seen from a distance, and the significance of what happened is understood and evaluated after decades, and sometimes even centuries.
What then began! From the question “Hu from Mr. Putin / who is mr. Putin? we have become a country in which there is no democracy, and the people are ruled by a tyrant. What only accusations we did not have to hear!
And they began to act. Having financed and armed the opposition in North Africa, Georgia, the Middle East, Ukraine, etc., leaders hostile to us, our country, came to power through color revolutions. Russophobia flourished in full bloom. And as a result of the unipolar activity of the American gendarmerie, these are destroyed countries and states; fragmented Yugoslavia, Georgia; bleeding in a civil war, Ukraine with the departed Crimea and the rebellious South-East; pampered Europe, occupied by evil refugees crawling onto its free shore. Wherever the foot of an American soldier steps, acts of terror and violence appear, drug trafficking increases, and outright Nazism appears in some countries.
Think about it! As a result of the criminal American-European policy, the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia's weakness in the nineties, millions of families, children, old people, mothers and fathers became victims. How many crippled destinies, crippled physically and mentally! I'm not talking about what gigantic resources of the world economy will be required to restore historical justice in relation to peoples subjected to genocide, to eliminate the consequences of humanitarian catastrophes where civil wars are blazing today, cities and vital infrastructure are being destroyed, where terrorism, barbarism and anti-human religious fanaticism are rampant. .
And, like a cherry on a cake that stunned everyone, V. Putin’s accusatory phrase in New York at the UN General Assembly on September 29, 2015: “Instead of the triumph of democracy and progress, there is violence, poverty, social catastrophe, and human rights, including the right to life , are not set to anything. I just want to ask those who created this situation: do you even understand now what you have done?
Today one can timidly say that the blockade ring is disintegrating, being torn to pieces.
After V. Putin's statement, Russia took the brunt of the world's leading economies when anti-Russian sanctions were deliberately imposed, to the detriment of the interests of primarily European countries, as a result of which production chains and profitable projects collapsed. And we, as in the heroic year of 1941 after the perfidious attack of Germany, restored again, invested financially and physically, erected, built, replaced what was missing.
The hysteria of the West has reached such an extent that the nuclear power, which is Russia, has become a "gas station", a "regional power", an "aggressor country", "torn to shreds".
And yet: "We survived, as always, in our difficult history."
Why am I doing all this? When the new era will go by leaps and bounds across the globe, when the world of major players who negotiate with each other, recognize certain rights and obligations among themselves, the Golden Age will come, people's lives will change, the nature of relationships will change, something that the Russian leadership drums into Western partners for many years. High-level anxiety and fear for the future of children will disappear, state authorities and civil institutions will work more efficiently, a civilized dialogue of cultures will begin between peoples and countries, between powerful political and business elites on the basis of interests and equality, deep in the chests will be hidden naphthalene historical grievances, peace shine with different colors.
Blessed is he who believes (this is me about myself).
And today there should be a court of history on the pages of the media. And this article is my thin accusatory voice, which will be joined by courageous people, decent journalists, major politicians, celebrities, the flower of culture, education, science, so that this earthly clamor can be heard by many generations, grateful descendants for the failed apocalypse. Our people in the last century already saved humanity from fascism, today, at the beginning of the 21st century, they are once again saving our contradictory, confused world. You may not agree with me, but I note that we are very close to this thousand-meter event canvas painted with the blood of Afghans, Iraqis, Iranians, Syrians, Kurds, Turks, Serbs, Croats, French, Ukrainians, Russians.
I know that the time will come when many will want to appropriate merit of epochal significance. You don't have to go far. See how today our heroic past is being rewritten, Great Victory Soviet people over fascism. There is an eternal war between countries, peoples, who and what contribution has made to scientific discoveries, culture, education, and in the aggregate - to the civilizational world process of human development.
Don't be surprised, I have written an inaugural address for Donald Trump by January 20, 2017, which may appear in The Washington Post the day after the inauguration.
Dear readers! Today, on the pages of our newspaper, we publish a report from the scene where the newly elected President of the United States Donald Trump took the oath and delivered a speech, where tens of thousands of people gathered at the walls of the Capitol.
According to Article 2 of the US Constitution, US President-elect Donald Trump said: "I do solemnly swear and affirm that I will faithfully serve as President of the United States and will, to the best of my ability, preserve, guard and defend the Constitution of the United States".
After the inauguration Donald Trump signed a proclamation that reads: I, Donald Trump, President of the United States of America, by authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the United States, proclaim January 20, 2017 as a National Day of Renewal and Reconciliation and call upon all our citizens to serve one another for the common goal of renewing our nation for our new century ".
After all the ceremonies, the new President of America, Donald Trump, delivered the already famous speech.
In particular, he said:
Dear compatriots!
The voice of a great nation is not given just like that, we will get it in battles on the fields of economic, ideological and political battles. Our Republican Party, looking into the hearts of millions of Americans, made a historic choice on November 8, 2016, choosing a truly correct concept for the development of our greatest and most powerful state-forming system, once again confirming the exceptionalism of the American nation. We were the first, our voters loudly demanded jobs, justice, confidence in the future.
I believe that several years will pass and the saved humanity will applaud all of us, those who heroically worked for the good of America, who sacredly believed and carried democratic values to the whole world, forcing them to admire the civilization that we created, which our ancestors built for centuries and which we are proud of. today.
The main thing to do:
- To achieve constitutional amendments that affect power structures, namely congressmen, government officials, federal employees.
- The split that lies between the ruling elite, the corrupt establishment and American society has to be overcome.
- As I said, we must sort out our own mess by systematizing and changing state system management. This is especially true of the NATO military bloc.
- We will radically change the labor market, returning many industries, markets and jobs, returning American business to our continent, our economy will receive new opportunities, unlike the entire Asia-Pacific region.
- And, finally, the main thing is that a new system of taxation should work, especially for the products of American corporations outside the territory of the United States.
- It is also necessary to reach mutual understanding with Russia. I think we can get along, it is important that our relationship does not have that circus that some of our politicians, senators and businessmen cultivated in the past..
- We minimize the cost of military defense of other countries by redirecting freed up resources to domestic problems so that those countries whose security we provide at the expense of American taxpayers defend themselves.
- The Middle East, where we behaved, to put it mildly, like in a china shop, with new political approaches, should recover from the devastation that the war brought.
- We will destroy ISIS, Jabhad al-Nusra and many other terrorist organizations that threaten the entire world.
- Medicare (a national health insurance program for the elderly and disabled) and Medicaid (medical assistance for families below the poverty line, funded at the state level with support from the federal government) will be fully preserved.
- We will restrict illegal migrants from Latin America and the Middle East in their criminal actions, and I think it is right to take tough measures against this category of citizens, communities involved in drug trafficking, violence, undermining our national security.
Dear friends! We do not hold a grudge against those who were against us, who rudely and cynically mocked us, mocked us during the 2016 election campaign, over our vision of the country's future development. After the victorious elections, their voice was drowned in a wave of our truthfulness, strength and wisdom, it was drowned in their own insignificant fear and inability to embrace and comprehend tectonic shifts, the changing geopolitical landscape throughout the world space. We will not rely on those who opposed change, against the entire American people, against the voters, but we will take full responsibility for the future of American society.
The slogan of my election campaign was and remains: "Let's return America to its former greatness!". And he will live and work in all corners of our mighty country.
Dear citizens of the United States of America! Dear voters! I fully fulfill my promises and sincerely believe that the path we have chosen, our unifying strategy of cooperation and partnership will ensure peace and harmony, strength and wealth, prosperity and stability, first of all, for our nation, our country. This is our special path and salvation, this is our universal mission! I love and proud of you! Happiness to you and good luck!
LONG LIVE THE GREAT AMERICAN PEOPLE!
