The structure of "Peresvet-Group" Oleg Pronin stole $ 2 million on the construction of a school in the suburbs
In October of this year, the once-partner relations of the INCOM Corporation with the Peresvet-Group and its structure Alpenbau reached a qualitatively new level: the Corporation was forced to apply to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor's Office with a request to investigate the activities of former counterparties. The issue price is $2 million. That is how much Alpenbau owed in the process of joint work. However, she owes money - this is one problem, another - she categorically does not want to return the debt. So in "INCOM" now this money is rightly considered no longer borrowed, but simply stolen.
The story began in 2008, when INCOM and the Zhukovka Gymnasium decided to build a school together in the Moscow region. The project turned out to be unique. And if everything went according to plan, or rather, in accordance with the contract agreement, this September, more than 700 children aged from 4 to 16 years old. That was the plan. The cost of 2.5 billion rubles. INCOM decided to implement it with the help of a respected contractor - the Alpenbau company, affiliated with the Peresvet Group. Under the concluded contract, the customer transferred an advance payment to the contractor - 83.7 million rubles. But the crisis came, no significant work was done on the construction site. And soon it became clear to the parties that the project would have to be suspended. And the unspent advance in the amount of 73 million rubles, respectively, Alpenbau must return to the corporation.
She returned, but only 9 million rubles. INCOM got worried and offered to conclude another agreement - on the transfer of movable property and equipment of the debtor for 70 million rubles. pledged to the creditor. The document was signed. However, this was the end of the civilized phase of relations between the parties. In "INCOM" they did not see either their money or the pledged property. The Corporation filed a corresponding claim with the Arbitration Court. The case was simple and understandable, so the court took the side of the creditor and ruled: to recover a total of 70 million rubles from Alpenbau LLC. The defendant, however, tried to challenge the pledge agreement. Say, it was concluded after "there was a fact of non-fulfillment of obligations." But the Moscow Arbitration Court did not accept this argument and did not change its decision. Although the result after the second arbitration decision has not changed - "INCOM" did not see any money or property. And the episode itself would not have been interesting if it were not for the person of the representative of Alpenbau in this proceedings - Shimko E.N.
However, from the moment the pledge agreement was signed in May 2009 until the summer of 2010, something has changed in the Alpenbau company itself. Firstly, the lion's share of the deposit has evaporated somewhere. In the spring of 2009, when Alpenbau pledged its property to INCOM, it was just for 70 million. And in the middle of 2010, there were mere trifles for the once huge contracting organization - 7-8 million rubles. Secondly, in relation to Alpenbau, at the request of one of the creditors, bankruptcy proceedings were initiated. And thirdly, during this time the composition of the first persons of the debtor has changed (and more than once). And now representatives of the Peresvet-Group Group of Companies declare in a blue eye that they have nothing to do with the failed company. And they certainly don't have to pay her debts.
It is clear that the ends of the vanished pledge cannot now be found. However, it is quite realistic to consider the details of the other two plots. First, let's take a look at the composition of the founders of Alpenbau LLC from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. We will see the following persons there: Austrian citizen Klammer Gernot Friedrich; Korotkov Nikolai Nikolaevich; Laskov Valentin Nikolaevich; Melnik Vladimir Leonidovich; Mironenko Olga Eduardovna; Nakonechny Pavel Anatolyevich; Pronin Oleg Valentinovich And according to information in the media and according to data from the websites of the Peresvet-Group (now seized), Gernot Klammer has been serving in one of the holding's structures, Peresvet-Invest, since 2005. Vladimir Melnik is a member of the board of directors of Peresvet-Invest and the general director of another structure of the Group of Companies - DominionM. Oleg Pronin is a member of the Board of Directors and CEO of Peresvet-Invest. Moreover, Pronin, and Melnik, and Klammer were at one time the general directors of Alpenbau. And the fact that after the citizen of Austria this post successively passed to gentlemen A.I. Shishkin, M.Yu. Shubin and A.M. Glazunov, can only mislead children who have not waited for a new school. The people who founded Alpenbau and are now at the helm of one of the structures of the Peresvet-Group Group of Companies are the same. And the connection between the two companies is nowhere more direct.
Now let's turn to the story of the bankruptcy of Alpenbau. The procedure was started at the end of September this year by the Moscow Arbitration Court at the request of one of the company's creditors - a certain ZAO PromResurs. Alpenbau owed him 5 million rubles. The representative of the creditor in court is Shimko Ye.N. That is, the same person in different lawsuits represents the interests of either Alpenbau or its opponent. The question is, how and why can this be? And because, for example, that "PromResurs" in this story is a classic mishandled Cossack. For this purpose, the structures of the Peresvet-Group Group of Companies bought the company (together with debts) from the previous owners in order to initiate the Alpenbau bankruptcy procedure on its behalf. And by the way, nothing is lost. After all, the applicant - "PromResurs" - automatically becomes a creditor of the first stage. And in the event of bankruptcy, the debtor receives almost all of his property. Corporation "INCOM" in this case remains with its lost $ 2 million. And with an obligation to customers to still build the promised school in the Moscow region.
And while the case remains within the framework of the “dispute of economic entities”, another outcome is hardly possible. In fact, for two years, while the confrontation lasts, the representatives of the debtor could already be tortured half to death by conscience - after all, the children were, in fact, robbed. Or, for example, Oleg Pronin with Vladimir Melnik and Gernot Klammer could take care of considerations of business ethics. Worry about a damaged business reputation. However, nothing of the sort happened. Oleg Pronin with such "nonsense" is helped to fight by his hobbies: feng shui and martial arts. Sometimes he photographs the aura - to make sure that it is not damaged and the color has not deteriorated. His scam partners, apparently, are also somehow coping.
That is why the INCOM Corporation turned to law enforcement agencies. “In our opinion, both the activities of Alpenbau itself and the activities of the Peresvet-Group group of companies, which actually owns this LLC, fall under Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud). In addition, there are signs of malicious evasion from repayment of accounts payable (Article 177 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and non-execution of a court decision (Article 315 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), ”Konstantin Popov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the INCOM Corporation, addressed them back in the fall.
Of course, we must hope that law enforcement officers will figure everything out. But when else will that happen. In the meantime, Peresvet-Group remains a major developer in the capital's real estate market. Among its projects are residential complexes "Alekseevsky", "Petrovsky Park", "House on Novokuzminskaya", "Versis", "Cascade", "House on Frunzenskaya". And private investors are also involved in these projects - ordinary people who have invested, perhaps, the last money in future square meters. Assessing the predisposition of "Peresvet-Group" to "scam" and its fearlessness in this field (after all, they were not afraid to deceive a large corporation), private investors should also worry about the fate of their own apartments. What if Oleg Pronin, a fan of feng shui and tai chi, decides that one of the equity holders has a weak karma? In his own words, he does not deal with such cases. So farewell to both money and housing.
The negative capital of the Moscow bank "Peresvet", the key shareholder of which is the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC), grew by almost 10 billion and amounted to 45.819 billion rubles, according to the EFRSFDYUL website on January 18.
The data is presented as of January 1, 2017, the date of capital calculation is January 12, 2016.
Earlier, the leaders of the largest creditors of Peresvet, Igor Sechin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Inter RAO, Nikolai Shulginov, General Director of RusHydro, and Sergey Katyrin, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, sent a letter to Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev with a request to contribute to the reorganization of the bank.As of December 1, 2016, the negative capital of the bank amounted to 35.082 billion rubles.

The possible bankruptcy of Peresvet Bank may turn out to be one of the largest this year: according to Life, the negative capital of the bank is about 100 billion rubles. This was told by a source close to the interim administration, which was introduced last week by the Bank of Russia. If the information is confirmed, only Vneshprombank (215.9 billion rubles) will be ahead of Peresvet in terms of the size of the "hole" in the balance sheet.
- A significant number of loans are not serviced, - said the interlocutor of Life. “At the same time, there are practically no real collaterals: basically, exotic rights of claim and lease rights, which cost practically nothing, were transferred as collateral.
The Central Bank was unable to either confirm or deny Life's information, noting that assets are still being checked.
- An assessment of the prospects for the activities of JSCB "Peresvet" (JSC) will be given after studying the results of a survey of the financial condition of the credit institution, currently being conducted by the provisional administration, - said the official representative of the Central Bank.
Problems and panic
According to official reports, the bank has been doing well until recently. According to the results of nine months of this year, the net profit of Peresvet Bank reached 2.13 billion rubles - it ranks 41st in terms of assets and 47th in terms of capital. The level of delinquency on loans is one of the lowest in the market, only 0.38%.
However, in early October, Fitch released a report stating that the bank's top 100 borrowers accounted for almost half of its loan portfolio. The agency found signs of affiliation of borrowers with the management of a financial institution.
The panic in the ranks of depositors began with the news about the alleged disappearance of the chairman of the board of the credit institution, Alexander Shvets. This was reported on October 14 by the Dozhd TV channel, citing its sources. The bank promptly denied this "news", saying that he was undergoing treatment. However, depositors began to withdraw their deposits from the bank, which immediately imposed restrictions on the issuance of deposits from individuals - no more than 100 thousand rubles, which only fueled the panic.
On October 21, the Central Bank introduced a temporary administration in Peresvet for a period of six months; its main task is to examine the financial position of the bank. This decision was made in connection with "non-satisfaction of creditors' claims for monetary obligations within a period exceeding seven days from the date of their satisfaction." This is how the regulator explained his decision, it was not possible to get more detailed explanations from him or the ROC.
In addition, the Central Bank imposed a moratorium on payments to Peresvet's creditors. Payments to bank depositors, including individual entrepreneurs, will begin no later than 14 days from the date of the moratorium.
"The Bank of Russia is holding consultations with shareholders and major creditors of JSCB Peresvet in order to determine the further prospects for the activities of the credit institution," the press service of the Central Bank said.
The bank's shareholders are: Russian Orthodox Church (49.71%); another 24.4% belongs to CJSC Expocentre, which is controlled by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation; 12.7% through LLC "Consent" is owned by the chairman of the board of "Peresvet" Alexander Shvets. The remaining 13.2% of the credit institution is divided among themselves by the Vnukovo-invest company (1.7%) and individuals:former chairman of the board of the bank Viktor Litvyakov (4.97%), Lidia Makeeva (4.50%), and others.
"Exotic" pledges
The Fitch agency partially confirms the assessment of the balance "hole": in early October, the company issued a press release in which it indicated the results of a random check of the bank's customers. She showed that only a hundred clients of Peresvet were issued at least 12 billion rubles of "high-risk" loans - that is, loans for which the bank had practically no collateral, and the borrowers themselves had no assets.
As Life was noted in the agency itself, unlike the Central Bank, the company does not conduct a thorough assessment of collateral, therefore, only the most egregious cases are included in the "high-risk" ones. The total volume of corporate loans following the results of the past six months amounted to 135 billion rubles and several thousand customers.
But the real trouble with collateral at Peresvet is demonstrated by the SPARK base of Interfax. From January 2014 to October 2016, only 103 pledge agreements fell into the register of pledges (after all, this does not include mythical "lease rights", but real assets), of which 53 turned out to be in default. Thus, we can conclude that "exotic" collateral accounts for a large part of the bank's loan portfolio.
Among such defaulters was the Chilingarov family, which, judging by social networks and other open data, has nothing to do with the Russian oceanologist, special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for international cooperation in the Arctic and Antarctic. They took out a loan of tens of millions of rubles to buy luxury cars BMW X6, Mercedes-Benz CLS 350, Mercedes-Benz E250, which, judging by the register of pledges, they could not service. But the cars themselves, obviously, are not and are not expected.
This example shows the quality of the bank’s work at the stage of analyzing the borrower: back in 2012, the National Association of Builders (NOSTROY) declared Vera and Asya Chilingarov to be fraudsters, who, thanks to their sonorous surname, “led him by the nose for almost two years, without paying either entrance or membership fees” .
Among the same defaults was the singer, the former soloist of the Tutsi group, Irina Ortman, who bought a Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid with Peresvet's money (it costs from 3 to 6 million rubles). She took out a loan in 2014 when her first solo album called "Plagiarism" was released. Although the loan was taken before September 2014, the pledge agreement is still valid, which means that the loan has not yet been repaid, and neither the car nor the money has been returned.
It was not possible to contact Chilingarov's namesakes and Mrs. Ortman yesterday.
Temple car
Individuals, according to Life's source, took out bank loans no less exotic than legal ones.
“Apparently, the following scheme was widespread in the bank: a client (and possibly an employee of the Russian Orthodox Church) took a loan, bought property on it, for example, a car, and transferred it to a temple or diocese,” says a source close to the leadership of the Central Bank, familiar with the situation in Peresvet. - The loan was not given, and the bank "drawn" the endless restructuring of the defaulted loan.
According to Life's sources, the problems in the bank began in the summer: then the Central Bank considered the option of reorganizing the bank and even allegedly turned to three large banks for advice, but this option did not seem interesting to anyone.
“All the assets pledged in Peresvet can be of interest only to the Russian Orthodox Church,” they say in the Central Bank. - Therefore, there are no people who want to sanitize it.
“In principle, this situation has existed in the bank for a long time,” says a source close to the leadership of the Central Bank. - However, until 2015, this was decided by a call from the Central Bank to shareholders who "added" money to the capital. But for more than a year this scheme has not been working, despite the promises of shareholders to make new injections.
And if the bank provided loans mainly to companies associated with shareholders, then it accepted deposits from the largest Russian companies. Since 2012, the bank has managed to attract a significant amount of deposits from state-owned enterprises or companies under state control. In particular, among the bank's clients, the media named Transneft, subsidiaries of Russian Railways, Gazprom, the Housing and Utilities Reform Assistance Fund, and various energy companies. As of October 1, 2016, the volume of funds of corporate clients exceeded RUB 77 billion.
Significant volume of deposits from individuals. At the same time, there is a high proportion of citizens who invested money in the bank, significantly exceeding 1.4 million rubles that fall under insurance. Of the 22 billion rubles of deposits of individuals, only 5 billion rubles are insured, said the source of Life, who is familiar with the state of affairs in the bank.
Accordingly, all this may turn out to be the sum of possible losses in the event of a bank failure.

The media reported on the withdrawal of the Peresvet group from the residential complex project in the east of Moscow
The Peresvet group of companies is terminating its activities as part of the Megapolis residential area project in the Moscow district of Novokosino, the Vedomosti newspaper reports on November 29, citing two sources close to the project participants.
According to the interlocutors of the publication, Promsvyazbank may become a new investor in the residential complex.
A representative of a financial institution said that the bank is already a financial partner of the project, the PSN group acts as a consultant, and the owner is the NDV-real estate company.
"We remain co-investors in the project, and our partners in it are Promsvyazbank and Expert Group," Alexander Khrustalev, general director of NDV Real Estate, confirmed, adding that the company has already invested about 4.5 billion rubles in the housing complex.
An employee of NDV-real estate stressed that the Peresvet group is no longer a co-owner of Megapolis,
and Promsvyazbank, which was at the site initially, "increased its stake to full project management."
The reasons for the exit of the Peresvet group from the housing complex project are still unknown.
Earlier it became known that Peresvet Bank, the main shareholder of which is the Russian Orthodox Church, used "gray" schemes in its activities bypassing the Central Bank, for example, when concluding a deal with Alfa-Bank.

Peresvet Group
The diversified holding Peresvet Group was founded in 2004 on the basis of the real estate company Peresvet-Invest (it has been operating on the Moscow real estate market since 1995). Until 2004, Peresvet-Group included Peresvet Bank. Its shareholders were the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, the Smolensk and Kaluga eparchies, as well as structures associated with the Moscow government (Expocentre, Mosprivatization, Center for Assistance to Housing Reform), football and hockey clubs Dynamo. Metropolitan Kirill was on the board of directors of the bank.
Among the founders of Peresvet are graduates of the Academy of the Federal Security Service Oleg Pronin (holds the position of General Director of CJSC Peresvet-Invest) and Valentin Laskov (Chairman of the Board of Directors). In 2006, Mr. Pronin was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Union of Social Justice of Russia, an organization that became widely known after the publication in the Kommersant newspaper of an interview with Oleg Shvartsman, head of Finansgroup financial and industrial group. “We have a political organization called the Union of Social Justice of Russia... This structure was created in 2004 after President Putin said that big business should have social responsibility to the state. Then our colleagues from the FSB decided, that an organization should arise that will bend, bend, torment Khodorkovskys, lead them to social activity ... All the power ministries are in trust there: the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, of course, ”- this is how Mr. Shvartsman described the tasks of the Union However, on the official website of this organization it is reported that it was created to help and assist the disabled and those in need of social protection.Mr. Pronin is a co-owner of the company "Slavic Compound L", which implements housing construction projects in Lytkarino, Moscow Region, together with Lavrenty Avoyan.
One of the shareholders of the "daughter" of "Peresvet" - the company "Rusitalinvest" - was considered Denis Kitaev, the son of the head of the department for coordinating the activities of the capital's construction complex, Nina Kitaeva. In 2007, he created his own development company.
In 2007, representatives of the company estimated the portfolio of Peresvet Group projects at 3 million square meters. m of housing (of which 2 million in the Moscow region), and the annual turnover - about 400 million dollars.
In 2007, Peresvet Group signed an agreement with the Export-Import Bank of the People's Republic of China to open a $1.5 billion credit line to finance housing construction in the regions. At the same time, the parties agreed to coordinately select contractors for the construction projects of the Russian company from among Chinese construction organizations. Later, the media reported that the company never received a loan (the Chinese side demanded state guarantees).
According to the results of 2008, the short-term liabilities of CJSC Peresvet-Group amounted to 6.7 billion rubles, the balance sheet value of assets - 8.7 billion rubles.
In 2008, there were reports in the media about the merger of the Moscow Capital bank, in which a temporary administration was introduced in the person of the Deposit Insurance Agency, with Peresvet-Group.
At the beginning of 2009, the company put up for sale projects for the construction of shopping malls in the Moscow region, which were previously supposed to be merged into the Aprel chain, as well as a number of retail real estate in Moscow.
In 2009, VTB Bank opened a credit line for the company to finance the construction of a residential complex in Moscow.
In November 2009, Alfa-Bank agreed to roll over loans to Peresvet Group for a total of $115 million until 2016. For a gesture of goodwill, the developer had to give the bank a quarter of the Moscow shopping center Gimenei on Bolshaya Yakimanka (in case of delay, the bank can take the remaining space out of court). In addition, the company contributed several land plots in the Moscow region as additional collateral for the loan.
In 2010, representatives of the Inkom corporation accused the Alpenbau company associated with Peresvet-Invest of embezzling more than $2 million intended for the construction of a school on Novorizhskoye Highway (Alpenbau acted as a contractor in this project). At the same time, in 2010, Termosnab LLC filed a bankruptcy lawsuit against Alpenbau. Representatives of Peresvet denied that the contractor is part of the Peresvet Group holding.
In 2011, the Moscow Arbitration Court approved the amicable agreement between Alfa-Bank and three companies of the Peresvet group — CJSC Peresvet-Invest, LLC Peresvet-Real Estate and LLC Dominion M for $15.6 million, which are defendants must pay the bank in solidarity.
In 2011, arbitration courts considered several claims by MDM Bank against the structures of the Peresvet group (Peresvet-Real Estate LLC, Peresvet-Region-Kuban LLC, Akita Stroy LLC and Maestrotur LLC) for a total amount of about 1.5 billion rubles.
The Tver District Court, at the request of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, arrested Oleg Pronin, co-owner and general director of the Peresvet-Invest development group of companies. He is a suspect in a criminal case of fraudulent theft of more than 300 million rubles from Peresvet Bank. and take them abroad. Together with Mr. Pronin, the former president of Peresvet bank Alexander Shvets, who is now abroad, is involved in the case.
Oleg Pronin was detained by the police at Vnukovo airport, where he arrived from Belarus last Saturday. The Main Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow suspects him of fraudulent embezzlement (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) from Peresvet Bank of 330 million rubles received as a loan from Atrom LLC. The company, the actual head of which the investigation considers Oleg Pronin, was part of Peresvet-Invest.
The money, according to the version of the operatives, was converted into foreign currency and transferred to the accounts of the Cypriot offshore, which was controlled by the same Oleg Pronin. The bank loan expired two years ago, but the money was never returned. The former president of Peresvet bank Alexander Shvets and "unidentified persons" are also involved in the case. When petitioning the Tverskoy Court for the arrest of Mr. Pronin, the investigator said that the suspect could hide from law enforcement agencies, like his alleged accomplice Shvets.
The prosecutor did not support the arrest request, citing the fact that there were no grounds for arrest, since the suspect himself returned to Russia. This was also confirmed by Mr. Pronin, who said that he learned about the claims of law enforcement agencies by phone from the investigator. According to Mr. Pronin, he immediately returned to his homeland in order to come for interrogation at the State Investigation Department on Monday, but they were waiting for him at the airport. “Peresvet is the largest developer, thousands of apartments need to be handed over, and in the event of my arrest, problems may arise,” Mr. Pronin said.
Peresvet-Invest was ready to make a bail of 10 million rubles, and the ex-wife of the suspect was ready to provide her apartment, where the businessman could be under house arrest. However, the judge of the Tverskoy District Court decided to send the businessman to a pre-trial detention center,
Recall that at the end of 2016, Peresvet began to have financial problems. The Central Bank called the policy of the credit institution high-risk and dubious, introducing a temporary administration in it. In 2017, it was decided to reorganize Peresvet, the hole in the capital of which the Central Bank estimated at more than 103 billion rubles. The bank is being rehabilitated with the help of RRDB, controlled by Rosneft. The employees of the new administration of Peresvet began to deal with the dubious deals of the former leadership. In the course of a large-scale audit, the facts of numerous financial violations and outright theft were revealed, among which there was an episode with the Atroma loan, in connection with which a statement to law enforcement agencies followed.
According to some reports, Oleg Pronin believed that all claims against him were removed after the Central Bank began reorganizing Peresvet, closing the hole that had formed in it. At the same time, he allegedly stated that one of the former leaders of Peresvet, who is now abroad, was most likely involved in the theft, if they were.
Sources of Kommersant note that Peresvet-Invest, which was one of the largest developers in the capital, currently unites several dozen companies-borrowers of KB Peresvet, and the total amount of their debt can allegedly reach 54 billion rubles. The JSCB "Peresvet" "Kommersant" could not promptly comment on the situation, promising to do so later.

1. Briefly about Oleg Valentinovich Pronin
2. Entrepreneur and alcohol
Hello Oleg Valentinovich! We know that you lead a healthy lifestyle and do not drink alcohol. But we live in a world where many people leading such a lifestyle are a little embarrassed by this “feature” of theirs, because in any company, if you say that you don’t drink, they immediately attack you: “Why?” You probably have to attend all sorts of buffets, business meetings where they offer alcohol more than others. How do business partners react when you give up alcohol?
They are very respectful. Especially when I say, I don’t drink for a long time, for more than six years, not a single gram. (By the way, October 10 marks exactly six years since I do without alcohol. For me, this is a definite achievement!) In fact, it all depends on what kind of person says that he does not smoke, does not drink, on his authority and position in society. In many ways, this also depends on his inner strength, charisma. If a person is not confident in himself or his authority is not very high, then, of course, he should be provoked and teased further and further: “Come on, stop it, let's have a drink ...” And if a person continuously works on himself, improves himself, then for him giving up alcohol and cigarettes is just one puzzle in a huge picture, out of a large number of puzzles, from which he assembles himself as a worthy, integral and harmonious personality. For me, this is just one of the aspects of asceticism and training of the spirit. Others feel it and understand that pestering is pointless! On the contrary, they respect my principles, because these ideas did not come to me yesterday: I have not cursed for 21 years, I don’t drink, I don’t smoke, I go in for sports every day.
Moreover, since the third of November last year, I have not eaten meat, and this summer I have stopped eating fish and eggs! Now, with curiosity, I look at the raw food diet. I try to listen carefully to my body and really feel what is good for me, what makes me feel better and what doesn’t. So I have no problems - everyone respects the principles that I follow in my life.
And six years ago, when you had just given up alcohol, was it more difficult then?
No, it was not difficult, I had a good excuse that I made a vow not to drink until my son was born. It was true. Before that, I already had three daughters, and one day I heard from my wife: “That's it! I'm giving birth for the last time! And if there is a daughter again - your problems! (Laughs) But I really wanted a son, and then, during my expedition to China, together with a friend who knew the ancient Chinese language, I consulted with Taoist monks who live in ancient secluded monasteries at an altitude of more than three thousand meters, and they told me recommended to perform some austerity. Austerity gives strength to achieve the goal. And I decided that let this austerity of mine be the refusal of alcohol. I gave myself a tough set: "Everything, starting today (it was October 10, 2005), I do not drink." I had a goal - I needed a son. And two years and eight months later he was born - the Higher powers responded. And I thought: “I have been living without alcohol for almost three years - why should I start all this again?” Moreover, I began to like the feeling of health and clarity of thinking more and more. I made my choice: I decided to continue, to make the refusal of alcohol my lifestyle, not to drink anymore at all.
3. Entrepreneur and family
How old are your children now?
My daughters are already 18, 15, 12 years old, and my son is 3 years old.
Now, unfortunately, divorces have already become commonplace, especially among businessmen and famous people. What helps you to maintain your relationship with your wife and your friendly, large family for a long time? What secrets of maintaining relationships, family happiness do you know?
Firstly, it is always respectful to each other, never raise your voice to a loved one; secondly, it is to accept any situation; thirdly, always try to be honest and sincere.
And how do your wife, children relate to your choice in the way of nutrition, do they share everything completely?
My wife does not fully share all my aspirations, but she treats me with respect. We somehow do not even talk about vegetarianism. I personally do not consider myself a vegetarian, because many vegetarians eat all kinds of chemicals, sweets, use yeast. I do not eat any chemicals or sugar, and also no products containing yeast. I eat only healthy, fresh and complete food, all the most natural. I also refused products that are produced in any factories. What can I be called? Probably natural. I eat vegetables, dishes from vegetables, cereals, legumes, fruits, cereals, I always eat greens. And, of course, nuts, seeds, dried fruits. All this is more than enough for good nutrition and a long, healthy life. I am also on a separate diet, I came to this somehow intuitively. I do not mix, for example, cereals with fruits or fruits with vegetables. This helps the food to be digested better and faster. When I learn something useful for myself, I immediately try to try it all, while listening to my body in order to understand whether it all suits me or not. And the children… When half the fridge is full of fresh fruits and vegetables and there is no meat, no chemicals, no canned food and Pepsi-Cola — what else is left for them? (Laughs.) After all, a wife doesn’t cook a hundred dishes for everyone all day long, and there is only one refrigerator for everyone. And that is why children, if they eat meat, eat it probably a hundred times less often than everyone else. We don't have any restrictions. We do not forbid them to buy and eat what they want, but when there is simply no meat in the refrigerator, no one even wants to bring it into the house. If the wife cooks dishes without meat very tasty, why would anyone else buy sausage and carry it into the house? Children eat a lot of dairy products - this is really what they need and is very healthy.
4. Entrepreneur and self-development
Oleg Valentinovich, what was the starting point for you to work on yourself, the desire to start assembling yourself from these puzzles, to embark on the path of asceticism, as you say? After all, usually people, when they achieve some kind of financial well-being, relax and, on the contrary, begin to indulge their weaknesses, which ultimately leads them to the destruction of life and the destruction of their health?
I don’t know exactly why I did it, but when I was still studying at the Higher School of the KGB, in the summer of 1990, I once got off the train and said to myself: “I don’t swear anymore!” So I decided to train my willpower. Since then, I have not uttered a single swear word. Although before that, especially when I served in the army, I sometimes cursed very hard.
It must have been difficult to follow this vow given to oneself, when fellow students and all peers expressed themselves not very, to put it mildly, censorship?
5. Transition to a healthy diet
Why did you decide to give up meat?
I read the book “The Pass to the Third Millennium” - it covers a wide range of important aspects of a healthy lifestyle in all respects from a variety of and very unexpected angles. I don't know of a book like this one. Then, with its author, Alexander Usanin, we went to India together for three days (there was no more time). And, having seen how millions of Indians have been eating for thousands of years, I also decided to try to eat without meat. Before that, it had never crossed my mind. But, what is most interesting, I immediately noticed and felt that my ligaments immediately became more flexible, elastic, and in a year of a vegetarian diet in terms of stretching, I achieved greater results than in the five years of training before. Now I understand that yogis are so flexible also because they are vegetarians - their body is not burdened with all these low energies () that meat gives. I didn't understand this important point until I actually experienced it myself. If you practice taijiquan while eating meat, you are holding back your progress a lot. To have flexibility, lightness and speed, you still need to eat food that does not cause lethargy and a feeling of heaviness in the body.
Was it hard to give up meat?
I have a well-trained willpower. He said "no" and that's it. For me, it just doesn't exist right now. You know what's really hard? This is to remove from your vocabulary all non-literary and slang vocabulary, all this slang with which our speech is now littered. Here I am talking with you, but I still think to myself: “Should I try it or not? Will I be able to speak in a beautiful, elegant, literary, and not slang and half-formal language full of clichéd phrases - or will I not be able to? This is what I, to be honest, find really difficult for myself now. Maybe this will be the next step for me. As in Orthodoxy, for example, there are fasts on certain days. Vegetarians say: “And we fast all the time!” And the monks and elders answer this: “No, if you are used to it, then this is no longer an asceticism for you, which means that for this period you need to come up with some other asceticism for yourself, thanks to which you can further temper your spirit and make it even stronger, more humble.” What you do easily is no longer austerity. So you need to move on.
6. Self-restraint - austerities
Why do you like to follow the path of limitation so much, to temper something in yourself all the time, to work on yourself?
For me, the definition of harmony, that is, a comfortable feeling of one's inner self, is a constant, I emphasize once again - constant, improvement of one's spirit, body and mind. Improvement of these three components. Moreover, the improvement of the spirit is the fundamental principle, because it is the most important thing. To improve the mind is to read different and useful books, to solve crossword puzzles. To improve the body is to adhere to the rules of a healthy diet, play sports. All this is not difficult. But perfecting the spirit is the most difficult thing. But at the same time, if you follow the path of perfecting the spirit, then you will be able to solve tasks of a completely different level, to achieve goals that were previously inaccessible to you. If a really difficult situation is created, a problem that cannot be solved with the help of logic and classical analysis, there is only one way out - to act, relying on the strength of the spirit. In such cases, the goal is most often achieved without any logic, somehow associatively and intuitively, precisely thanks to a strong spirit. I live in this society, I have a family, children, business, responsibility. But I cannot go to a monastery or somewhere else to perfect my spirit there. I practice asceticism - all this in order to use the possibilities of a strong spirit in everyday life in communication with friends, with children, with my wife, in business - constantly. I live like this.
7. Spirituality, worldview and business
And how does spirituality fit in with business?
It even matches very well! Many people consider these things incompatible. In their minds, spirituality means becoming a monk, praying and fasting from morning to night, while business is something directly opposite, something purely material, involvement in earthly affairs... Here the question of the true concentration of your aspirations is the "goal of business." If you deify the dollar, elevate it to an absolute, then yes, it will really be a problem. Concentration on money and on what you can then buy for yourself with this money is a very immersive activity. But your goal may be completely different. For example, to produce useful, high-quality goods and services that people really need, the desire to evoke positive emotions in those around them, a feeling of happiness. If your goal is to bring joy to people, then your activity will be spiritual. And besides, how can any activity be material, if you know and take into account that God is everywhere, God is in everything, God is energy, He is in you, in me, in everyone? If you work to make people happy, then with your work you satisfy God. Therefore, there is no contradiction in principle between business and spirituality.
Does the worldview affect the type of business, as well as the approach to business?
I still think it does. I will never sell alcohol and cigarettes - everything that destroys the health and well-being of people, no matter what superprofits it promises me. For example, a year ago I was going to build a meat processing plant. Now, having learned more about healthy eating, I have changed my mind. And instead of a meat processing plant, we are now building a large vegetable store, using the latest progressive technologies for storing vegetables and preserving all their useful qualities. But to an even greater extent than business, I think, the worldview affects the very essence of the approach to business, which we just talked about: what is more important for you - money or the happiness of others? If you do not put money above the happiness and well-being of other people, it makes no sense for you to deceive, “throw”, “set up” someone. Yes, it's difficult. Yes, sometimes it is difficult to keep any obligations due to changing circumstances. But we always resisted, we always moved the project forward, we always completed the construction of houses, even in times of crisis, based on the fact that we cannot deceive people. Although, from the point of view of classical business, if you put money in the first place, then in times of crisis, the simplest and most correct solution in such a situation is to simply go bankrupt the company, write off all debts and say: “I don’t have any money. I am a bankrupt. My company has collapsed and I don't owe anyone anything anymore." And start a new business without debt. From the point of view of logic - this is the simplest, from the point of view If your goal is to bring joy to people, in this case your activity will be spiritual. And besides, some activity can be material, if you know that God is everywhere, God is in everything, God is energy, He is in you, in me, in everyone? If you work to make people happy, then with your work you satisfy God. classic business is the right decision for a businessman, but this only happens when money is the most important thing. If the focus is not on money, but on human relationships, the trust of the people who handed you their capital, if your goal is to make them happy, you will never do this, you will look for opportunities If your goal is to bring joy to people, in this case your activity will be spiritual. And besides, some activity can be material, if you know that God is everywhere, God is in everything, God is energy, He is in you, in me, in everyone? If you work to make people happy, then with your work you satisfy God. Fulfill your obligations, no matter what, whether it is logical or illogical, possible or impossible, but you will try to make sure that people are not deceived, so that they get the product they paid for. (Editor Harum: To fulfill your duties energy is needed - about .)
And do you feel some kind of return and gratitude on the part of people for the fact that even in times of crisis you honorably withstood all your obligations to them? Some kind of positive energy flow in your address?
Of course. All this is felt. And it's also good that people in our country are tolerant, even if due to some problems we sometimes have to delay construction. In Russia people are tolerant. And grateful. And this also helps us a lot.
8. Entrepreneur and children
What is your daily routine, if not a secret?
At eleven o'clock in the evening, or, if possible, at half past ten, I go to bed. I get up at five to six. At six thirty I leave the house. At seven, I start doing taijiquan in our gym, which is located here, next to the office. I study until nine, and at nine-twenty my working day begins. It lasts until eight in the evening, or a maximum of half past nine.
Do you manage to communicate with children, with family?
On the weekend. All weekends are for the family.
Now the big problem is to raise children in conditions of permissiveness that prevails in modern society. How do you try to convey something pure, bright, kind to your children?
In this regard, I have one very good concept, and my experience shows that it is a working one. In fact, children are brought up not by moralizing, some kind of suggestion or a belt. The most important education is our personal example. Children see everything, and they simply “mirror” us, repeat our behavior, our way of life. If parents don't watch TV, then their children don't watch it either. Many people I know have it on TV in every child's room, even in the kitchen. We practically do not include it. They do not need it, children have their own healthy and interesting hobbies. Instead, they play sports and dance, read books. (From the editor Harum - watch educational videos with your children -,)
9. Miscellaneous
What qualities of a modern businessman, in your opinion, are the most important?
All the same: honesty (), sincerity and respect for people. It is very important to make the purpose of business to serve people. We have the mission of our company on the screen saver on every computer: “To make people happy, and cities and towns beautiful, based on national values, being” - so that all our employees remember what we are doing here.
It is known that in your company you encourage non-smoking employees by adding paid vacation days to them. How do other employees feel about it?
Treat normally. And by the way, we noticed that there are fewer and fewer smoking employees in the company. You already have permanent Lenten dishes in the dining room and menu. Probably, you and vegetarians are becoming more and more? Don't know. May be. I do not impose anything on anyone. The main thing is that people feel comfortable working and that they are satisfied with their work and what they do. How do you personally perceive charity? Charity should be targeted and specific. You must know how your charity will help this person or some large number of people. When a person does something reluctantly - this is not charity, this is how he paid off the petitioners. There must be sincerity. You must understand well what benefits your actions will bring to people and sincerely wish to help them.
Why did you decide to support the publication of the Blagodarenie magazine?
Because it is a very useful magazine! It presents in an accessible and simple form knowledge that is important for everyone, which, I am sure, can help everyone change themselves for the better and improve society. And besides, he is out of politics.
Now many people make money in Russia, but take it abroad, for example, they buy real estate in Europe. Why don't you make yourself a residence abroad?
I love Russia, I like my country, I want to live in it, everything suits me here. And besides, the money of our country must remain in our country, for its development, for the good of the Russian people. I don't want to be bound overseas. If you built a house in the Canary Islands, then your wife will drag you there all the time, and you will be tied to this place instead of being free to travel to any part of the world. We are building a dacha in the suburbs - it's better here!
Oleg Valentinovich, can you say that you live the way you dreamed, how you would like to live your life?
Oh yeah! I can easily say this. I do not regret anything. Wouldn't change anything. God gives either trials or temptations - both are intended for us to temper our spirit. If God gives you something, then it is necessary for your path. So how can you regret what God has given you to improve either your body, or spirit, or mind? In any situation, you have gained experience and knowledge. What is true knowledge? This is absolute faith. As a result of any events, you become wiser, more knowledgeable and more experienced. It is important to find your high goal and firmly know that this goal is yours, follow this path and accept everything that happens, understanding well that everything God does is for the better, everything that happens in your life is necessary for you. Mistakes are trials. When a teacher distributes assignments, a lazy, negligent student may perceive them as a problem. It's not really a problem, it's a task. Problems are those tasks that you need to solve, this is a “case”, this is the package of events that is given to you for training. And there is no problem that you cannot solve. Of course, you will have to work on yourself in order to gain experience, to go through the next stage of improvement on your way. Each person has his own purpose, and you need to understand it, make sure that this purpose is yours, and constantly check and correct it: after all, you gain experience, which means you change. Therefore, you do not need to get hung up on anything, you need to learn to be flexible. There are millions of different options around us in the Universe, and if you change, improve spiritually, you can choose different options for your actions. This is especially necessary for a businessman: he needs to be observant, attentive to the events taking place around him, study and, as I call it, read signs-hints from above.
Where should people start to lead a healthy lifestyle?
You need to understand why they need it. For example, many successful people now choose a healthy lifestyle because they understand that being rich is only half the battle; it is more important to live long in order to be rich for a long time! - for this they lead a healthy and correct way of life. But it is more correct to strive to be healthy not for themselves, but for society. After all, it is much more pleasant to communicate with a healthy and cheerful person than with a sick and gloomy one. You can take care of your health to make this world a better place! What would you like to wish our readers? I wish you to take care of yourself and others, take care of our planet and always remember where we came from, why we are here and where we are going. I fully agree with Rami that unconditional divine love is the highest goal of life! (Editor's note: This is not my idea, it is claimed by all religions and enlightened sages, and just wise people.) I really wish all your readers to achieve this state!
Thank you very much, Oleg Valentinovich, for the conversation! All the best to you in life!
Thank you and I wish you the same!
